UrduPal is a public conversation space for adults aged 18 and over.

Respect comes first

• No harassment, hate speech, threats, sexual content or exploitation.
• No doxxing, impersonation, scams, advertisements or repeated messages.
• Do not share phone numbers, addresses, passwords, payment details or other private information.
• Respect a person’s choice to decline direct messages. A nickname does not verify identity.

Report and block

Use Report beside a message to send its evidence to the review queue. Voice participant reports contain no recording; an operator can remove someone from voice or restrict their room access. Choose a person and use Block to hide their messages and prevent direct contact in that room. Reports are reviewed when an operator is available; this is not a continuously staffed or emergency service.

Operators can remove reported messages and temporarily restrict the browser identity and connection address associated with an abusive message. Shared networks may be affected. Evasion remains possible; blocking is not an identity verification system.

If something feels wrong

Stop the conversation, block the person and leave the room. For immediate danger, contact your local emergency services. This site is not a counselling or confidential support service.
